Book: Our Guest Houses have a minimum reservation of 2 nights. After the reservation is made, we will send a successful email to the inbox of the contact associated with the reservation. Within 24 hours our team will evaluate the availability and send you a confirmation of your reservation.
Confirmation: The reservation requests that are received will be processed and confirmed by our team within 24 hours. The reservation will be considered provisional until the Bracara Guest Houses team confirms the acceptance of the reservation. We will confirm the reservation by email, describing the details of the reservation.
Payment: After receiving the email confirmation of your reservation, you will be asked to pay 50% of the total amount of the reservation. This payment must be made within 48h after the booking confirmation is issued, under penalty of cancellation of the booking. The remaining payment will be made at Check-in. Traveller's cheques, personal cheques or foreign cash will not be accepted for payment.
Additional Payment - Municipal Tourist Fee: The fee is 1.5 euros per person/sleep in all tourist resorts and local accommodation establishments, up to a maximum of four consecutive nights per person/stay. The tax is levied on guests over 16 years of age, and applies between 1st March and 30th October. The fee has to be paid at Check-in in cash.
Cancellation and Reimbursement: All reservations, after provisionally confirmed by our team, which are not confirmed within 48h, through the payment of 50% of the total amount, will be cancelled without prejudice to the guest. After payment and consequent confirmation of the reservation, cancellations and changes must be made in writing, by email. We do not accept cancellations or changes of reservations by phone or in person. A confirmed reservation can be cancelled free of charge after 48h of the reservation confirmation, provided that at the time of the reservation confirmation there are 15 full days, or more, until the scheduled arrival date (for example, if you book for June 25th, you will have until midnight on June 9th). Any reservation that is cancelled or changed, after 48h of the reservation confirmation and up to 14 full days before the scheduled arrival date or in case of non-arrival on that day (no show), we will not refund the amount paid when the reservation is confirmed.
Check-in/Check-out: Check-in time is between 3:00 and 7:00 pm and check-out time is until 11:00 am.
Presential Check-in and Check-out. Our Guest House's Manager, Cristiana, will welcome you and give you all the recommendations to have a stay that meets your expectations. We will also make sure to be present at Check-out to get your feedback and wish you back soon.
Please note that late check-in must be requested in advance, is subject to availability and entails the following additional costs, to be paid in cash:
From 7pm to 10pm: 15Eur;
From 10pm to 24pm: 30Eur.
House Rules:
No smoking, parties or events;
Small pets are allowed whenever there is prior authorization. Safeguarding that guests will be responsible for all damages caused;
It is not allowed to house unidentified persons in the reservation process;
No subletting to third parties;
There are instruction manuals for the correct use of the appliances, being the responsibility of the holder of the reservation any damage or breakdown of the same during the stay;
The reservation holder is liable for any damage occurring during the stay, including personal injury or damage caused by fire, theft or criminal behaviour;
If any rule is disregarded the owner reserves the right to ask the guest and his guests to leave, losing the right to any compensation or claim;
The apartment is located in a residential building, please respect the neighbors and do not make noise respecting the quiet time between 10pm and 8am;
In case of loss of keys a fee of 20 Euros is charged.
